A family, three little kids, and one familiar everyday problem. Meet the people behind Steadi.
A dad. Three little kids. One idea.
With three kids under three, Scott Rodriguez saw plenty of drinks go over where his family spent time. A coaster could not solve every situation, and a fixed holder could not travel with the drink. He began making his own solution at home in Orange, California.
The idea became Steadi: a flexible holder that fits around the bottom of compatible drinkware and gives it a broader support footprint. The first prototypes came together in late 2025. In April 2026, the family introduced Steadi at the Newport Beach Boat Show.
The same idea, beside your bed
Nightstand Steadi is the same product, focused on a different part of your day. It sits on your existing table rather than attaching to the bed or becoming another piece of furniture. Choose a supported spot for its whole base and check your drink’s fit.
